United States Postal Service Collects Housing Data for HUD

The United States Postal Service (USPS) has created a database – called the Address Management System – that contains property data on nearly all mailing addresses within the country. These data hold significant potential because they describe the universe of housing addresses within the United States and are frequently updated.
