Goals of the AISP Network
Sustain the Professional Network and collaborate among network sites by using the AISP Qualitative Case Studies of each individual Network site to articulate the basic models and operative components of our effective IDS sites. Host periodic conferences for network members, aspiring sites, interested public agencies, foundations and others interested in the field of IDS.
Formalize the models and methods to develop new IDS sites by continuing our conversations and consultations with developing sites and improving our resources for growth such as the IDS Site Assessment Matrix and Best Practice papers.
Showcase exemplary uses of cross-site research to demonstrate IDS can be utilized in any jurisdiction.
Explore ongoing collaborations with federal, foundation, national public interest groups and establish connections with external groups who want to invest in the network’s capabilities.
Provide consultation to government and university partners on how to develop an IDS.
